‘THERE IS NO NEED FOR that Alexa’ Kieron saw the look of worry on Paris' face

‘Alexa, stop. I have known Kieron for an age.’ Jacob said imploringly Kieron felt the blade cut a bit deeper and he thought this was it he was finally going to be with his beloved Molly. The pain and pressure stopped and Kieron felt the warm liquid run down the front of his neck to his chest. Paris ran over with a cloth that she had ripped from her jerkin.

‘You could have killed him,’ Paris said whilst she was tending to his wound.

‘Maybe he will stop wasting our time now’ Alexa replied in defiance.

‘Do not worry about her she is more action than thought!’ Paris said to Kieron with a smile that reminded him of Molly. Kieron looked up at her face and he was mesmerised although she was not as beautiful as Molly, Paris had a cute sharpness to her features. Her ever so slightly up turned nose and her bark like colour eyes. For a moment both locked eyes and Kieron felt her breath quicken

‘Stay still otherwise you will open the wound again.’ Paris said slightly embarrassed.

‘Jacob. Please pass me the needle and thread,’ she added. It was now that Kieron noticed that she had an accent. Kieron thought that he was a well-travelled man but he had not heard this accent before.

‘Paris if you do not mind me asking, where do you hail from?’ Kieron said whilst wincing

‘I am from a country far away where the trees have lives and women rule. Men are also slave's too.’ she replied in a teasing way, her eyes were alight and her features brightened Kieron saw this and was instantly intrigued.

‘I feel as though we might be seeing a lot of each other,’ Kieron said in a mere whisper. There was something on Paris' tongue but Kieron never heard any more. Her look was enough. It was a mixture of pleasure and happiness

‘Right, where were we’ Jacob said breaking the clear flirting.

‘Ah yes, was going to tell you about our order and our main goal.’ Jacob said whilst opening the book in front of them. Kieron could not keep his eyes off Paris, she went over to a barrel and pulled her sleeves up and Kieron saw she has bands around her arm. These were not metal bands these were markings then it hit him she was a fabled Bellatrix or Warrior Women as they were better known from the northern Islands. Then the phrase she said made sense as the fabled land of the Bellatrix People was shrouded in dense forest and vegetation. It was nicknamed The Vanishing Archipelago because the sea's rise and fall. Kieron did not know much else about her homeland but what was that Bellatrix phrase he was taught,

‘Saraiba e bendigo vos’ which meant Hail and I bless you. He called out and Paris looked round stunned

‘Thank you Kieron, nice to meet you too. e tamén para ti tamén’

‘Thanks I think.
